DRIVING
Precautions under various weather conditions
Driving on a rainy day
Drive slowly and maintain a certain distance
from the vehicle in front; in the event of
emergencies, take measures timely, and
do not rotate the steering wheel urgently
or perform emergency braking to prevent
vehicle sideslip and rollover.
Before driving through a water﹣logged road
section, check the water regime first: For a
road with a sign, the depth of the water shall
not be greater than the minimum ground
clearance of the vehicle (for specic data, see
"Dimension" in Section "Vehicle Parameters"
of the Operating Instructions). Drive slowly
and do not shut down the engine when
passing through a water﹣logged road section.
For a road section where the depth of water
cannot be judged, take a detour.

Driving on a foggy day
It is hard for the driver to see the road
condition clearly on a foggy day because of
low visibility and blurry vision, making driving
dangerous. In this case, turn on the position
lamp, the low beam and the tail lamp and
drive slowly. In case of dense fog, stop the
vehicle, and continue to drive after the fog
disperses.
Driving on a snowy day
The rear wheels are prone to wheel﹣spin
on a slippery road with little adhesion.
Accordingly start the vehicle and drive slowly
at a constant speed. The braking distance
is long on a road covered with ice or snow.
Therefore, maintain a su󰀩cient distance from
the vehicle in front while driving so that you
can detect the forthcoming situation early and
get ready to stop the vehicle in advance. It is
forbidden to engage the neutral position for
coasting. The driver may have eye fatigue
or even be dazzled for a short time by the
reflected light of the snow on the road.
Under such circumstance, the driver must
decelerate to stop the vehicle, and continue
to drive after his or her vision recovers.
