TIPS & TROUBLESHOOTING
Symptom Problem Solu on
Status LED is
solid red
Energizer has stopped pulsing due
to ba ery voltage falling less than
11 V. (This protects the ba ery
from permanent damage.)
Replace fl at ba ery with a
fully charged one
No voltage on
fence
• Fence shorted
• Fence disconnected from
energizer.
• Energizer may have been
damaged by lightning
Check energizer isn’t
faulty;
- disconnect from fence
and earth
- measure across fence
and earth terminals
with a Gallagher Fence
Volt Meter
- if less than 5 kV return
energizer for service
- if more than 5 kV the
fault is with the fence
or earth system.
