5 Step Installa on Guide
Step 1. Mount the Energizer
InstallaƟ on under cover (non solar)
Mount the energizer on a wall, out of reach of
children. Install where there is no risk of the energizer
incurring fi re or mechanical damage and where
the ba ery leads can be a ached easily. Note: It is
important to mount the energizer correctly. If the
energizer is mounted upside down, water can damage
the energizer.
a) Drill holes using the template on the centre
page as a drilling guide (A and B holes). Use a
4mm (5/32”) diameter drill for mber walls or
a suitable wall plug for brick and concrete walls
(illustra on a).
b) Using the screws clipped to the Energizer, secure
screw(s) in hole(s) A as shown (illustra on b).
c) Hang the Energizer on the screw(s) A. Fit screw
through Energizer into hole (B) for extra stability
if necessary (illustra on c).
Post installaƟ on (non solar)
Mount the Energizer on a post, out of reach of
children and in a place where there is no risk of the
Energizer incurring mechanical damage and where
there is no risk of the leads being chewed by animals.
Use the template described in a) - c).
Solar installaƟ on
Mount Energizer to the underside of the Gallagher
solar bracket/panel in a place where there is no risk
of mechanical damage. (Complete instruc ons come
with the Solar Bracket Kitset G4870).
