The reference plane adjustment reed is fixed on
the upper section of the upper jaw transfer
stand by means of magnetic retention.

Lower the upper section of the transfer stand by
turning the adjustment screw, until the refer-
ence plane adjustment reed slightly touches the
ball of the reference point indicator.
