Select the distance block for the lower jaw in the

same way as for the upper jaw. Open the artic-

ulator and insert the distance block with a previ-

ously attached mounting plate.

Moisten the model and apply an adequate

amount of plaster on both the mounting plate

and the model.

Close the articulator and allow the plaster to

harden, following the manufacturer’s instruc-

tions.
