Checking Battery Voltage
Gannet supplies a battery checker with the Gannet Pro / Pro+. e battery checker will check the
voltage of the battery and the voltage of each cell in the battery.
Plug the balancer cable of the battery into the battery tester. e tester will BEEP, and then show
the total voltage of the battery, followed by the voltage of each cell.
A fully charged LiPo 4S battery is 17.4V and each cell should be 4.35v. e cells may vary up or
down by 0.02v (range 4.18v to 4.22v) Do not use if there is a variance greater than 0.2v between
the cells.
Always y will a fully charged battery. Do not y with a partially discharged battery as you do not
know how much energy or ight time is le in the battery.
Never y with a battery that has a voltage reading less than 15.5 volts. is means the battery is low
and the safety margin is reduced.
