Sterownik nawadniania przeznaczony jest do użytku niekomercyjnego w działkowych

i przydomowych ogrodach, wyłącznie na zewnątrz budynków, do sterowania zraszaczami

oraz systemami nawadniającymi czystą, chłodną wodą wodociągową. Zalecany do

systemów o niskim przepływie do montażu na kranie zasilającym. Producent nie ponosi

odpowiedzialności za szkody wynikające z użycia go w sposób niezgodny z jego

przeznaczeniem, sprzeczny z zaleceniami opisanymi w niniejszej instrukcji obsługi lub

samodzielnie dokonanych napraw oraz modyfikacji lub w wyniku użycia nieoryginalnych

This document describes the Gardenic GN-1113 Irrigation Controller, a device designed for non-commercial use in allotments and kitchen gardens. It is intended for outdoor use only, to control sprinklers and irrigation systems using clean, cool tap water. The controller is recommended for low-flow systems and is designed to be mounted on a supply tap.

Function Description

The irrigation controller automates the watering process based on user-defined programs. It allows for setting up to three daily irrigation programs, specifying the start time, duration, and frequency (selected days of the week or an interval of every 2-6 days). The device features an LCD display for easy programming and monitoring. It can operate in automatic mode, following the set schedule, or in manual mode for immediate, temporary watering. A solenoid valve controls water flow, and a sieve filter at the water inlet helps prevent debris from entering the system.

Usage Features

The device is programmed using a rotary knob and an "OK" button, along with "+" and "-" buttons for adjusting values.

Clock Setting: The programmer knob is turned to "SET CLOCK" to set the current day of the week, hour, and minutes. The display can switch between 12H and 24H modes by long-pressing the "OK" button.
Setting Start Times: In the "START TIME" position, users can set up to three daily start times for irrigation programs. Programs can be turned off by setting the time to "OFF" (achieved by changing the setting from 23 or 11 p.m. to the next value).
Setting Irrigation Duration: The "HOW LONG" position allows users to define the duration for each irrigation program, from 1 to 239 minutes. Similar to start times, programs can be turned off by setting the duration to "OFF" (with minutes set to "00").
Setting Irrigation Plan (Frequency): In the "HOW OFTEN" position, users can select specific days of the week for watering or choose an interval (e.g., "Every 2 days" to "Every 6 days"). The chosen plan is confirmed with the "OK" button.
Automatic Watering: Turning the programmer knob to "ON" activates all set programs. The LCD displays the current time and the remaining time until the next program starts. During active watering, the remaining watering time is shown, and a water icon flashes.
Manual Watering: While the knob is in the "ON" position, holding the "OK" button for approximately 3 seconds initiates manual watering for 10 minutes. Holding it again for 3 seconds stops manual watering. Manual irrigation does not alter the programmed schedule.
Stopping Irrigation: Turning the programmer dial to the "OFF" position completely stops all watering.
Battery Status: A low battery icon appears on the display when batteries are low. If the voltage drops below 2.6V, the icon flashes, and the controller stops irrigation plans and closes the solenoid valve to prevent over-discharge.

Maintenance Features

Battery Replacement: The battery compartment is located at the back of the housing. Two AA 1.5V batteries are used. It is crucial to observe polarity when inserting new batteries. Discharged batteries should be removed immediately to prevent leakage and damage. Alkaline batteries are recommended after the included ones are used up.
Cleaning: The device should be cleaned with a dry cloth or paper towel. For heavy soiling, a slightly dampened cloth (with warm water, well-wrung) can be used, followed by immediate drying with a dry cloth or paper towel.
Sieve Filter: The sieve filter must always be present at the water inlet and should be cleaned regularly to prevent sediment from pipes from entering and damaging the controller.
Storage: Store the device away from children and extreme temperatures (below 0°C/32°F or above 40°C/104°F) to prolong its lifespan and prevent damage to electronic components or plastic parts. Freezing water can damage the unit.

Safety and Disposal

The device is not suitable for conveying drinking water, salt water, hot water, industrial water, or for use in district heating, building installations, or drainage.
Do not dismantle or modify the device; only qualified personnel or authorized service centers should perform repairs. Unauthorized repairs void the warranty.
Do not immerse the device in water or other liquids.
Keep batteries away from children and animals. Do not short-circuit battery terminals, charge non-rechargeable batteries, or dispose of batteries in fire or with regular household waste. Used batteries should be placed in special containers for recycling.
The device and its packaging are marked with symbols indicating proper disposal and recycling procedures in accordance with EU directives (WEEE and battery directives). Users are responsible for delivering used equipment and batteries to designated recycling points.
