Fault Possible causes Remedy
The motor does not
start
- Engine brake lever not pressed
- Spark plug defective
- Fuel tank empty
- Petrol cock closed
- Press the engine brake lever
- Replace spark plug
- Top up fuel
- Open petrol cock
Engine does not run
smoothly
- Air fi lter dirty
- Spark plug worn
- Choke open
- Clean the air fi lter
- Clean/Replace the spark plug
- Set choke lever to “Run” position
The equipment
does not operate
smoothly and vibra-
tes intensively
- Blades imbalanced - Have the blades replaced by a cus-
tomer service workshop.
Motor is running,
roller is not rotating
- V-belt torn - Have the V-belt replaced by a cus-
tomer service workshop.
