OPERATION (CONT.)
• Begin ironing with the garments requiring lower temperature settings. Doing this
shortens the waiting time (the iron heats up faster than it cools) and reduces the
risk of scorching garments.
• Ifthegarmentconsistsofamixtureofbers,settheironaccordingtotheberthat
requires the lowest temperature.
• Ifuncertain about thebercontentof a garment,testing on a minorareaof it
before ironing is recommended. In doing this, start with a low temperature. If
wrinklespersist,gradually increasethe temperatureto nd the best setting for
the garment.
• To prevent the garments from being stained or damaged, it is best to iron them on
the reverse side.
• When the temperature has been selected, allow 2 minutes for the iron to reach
maximum temperature.
Dry ironing
• Sort the garments to be ironed ( Preparing garments to be ironed).
• Connect the power plug (8) to a suitable electrical outlet. The operation indicator
(12) lights up and stays on.
• Slide the function control (4) to the dry ironing position (ill.
d
).
• Set the temperature control (13) to the desired setting.
• Place the iron on its heel (11) and let it heat up completely (ill.
e
).
• Wait for 2-3 minutes until the desired temperature is reached. Now you can start
ironing.
• After use, turntheirono(O), disconnect it from the electrical outlet, and empty
the water tank (15) (
