Why can't I create a connection to my GE Stereo System 99004 in Receive mode?

  If you're having trouble creating a connection to the 99004 in Receive mode, first ensure the transmitting device is fully powered. Then, verify that the 99004 is within the specified range (30 feet / 10 meters for Class 2 or 300 feet / 100 meters for Class 1) and that the audio source is transmitting via Bluetooth. Check if any other Bluetooth device is connected to the 99004. If so, the indicator LED on the RX box will be ON. Try turning off the 99004 and all transmitting devices, then power them back on. Finally, ensure the correct input is selected on the stereo and the volume is properly adjusted.

  If you're unable to establish a connection to the 99004 in Transmit mode, first make sure the receiving device is fully powered. Next, check that the receiving device is within the specified range of (300 feet / 100 meters for Class 1 devices) from the 99004 and that the 99004 is set to transmit. See if any other Bluetooth receiving device is connected to the 99004; if other devices are connected, the indicator LED will be ON. Try turning off the 99004 and all receiving devices, then power them back on. Lastly, ensure the correct music source is selected on the stereo and the volume is properly adjusted.
