Why is my food not broiling properly in my GE CK7000?
    • M
      Matthew GonzalezSep 2, 2025
If food is not broiling properly in your GE oven, make sure you select the appropriate broil mode and that the rack position being used is correct. Ensure the cookware is cool and suited for broiling. If using aluminum foil on the broiling pan and grid, make sure it has been fitted properly and slit as recommended. In some areas the power (voltage) may be low, preheat the broil element for 10 minutes.

What to do if I see "F— and a number or letter" flash in the display of my GE Oven?
    • J
      Jennifer BlackburnSep 16, 2025
If you see "F— and a number or letter" flashing on your GE Oven display, it indicates a function error code. First, press the Cancel/Off pad and allow the oven to cool for one hour, then try putting the oven back into operation. If the error code repeats, disconnect all power to the oven for at least 30 seconds, then reconnect it. If the function error code continues, call for service.

Why does my GE CK7000 Oven door glass appear tinted?
    • P
      Patrick BrockSep 15, 2025
The inner oven glass of your GE oven is coated with a heat barrier to reflect the heat back into the oven to prevent heat loss and keep the outer door cool while baking. This is not a defect.
