Thetemperaturecontrolsarepresetin thefactory at37°FfortherefrigeratorcompartmentandO°Ffor
thefreezercompartment.Allow2/4hoursfor thetemperaturetostabilizetothepresetrecommended
settings.
Thetemperaturecontrolscandisplayboth the SETtemperatureaswellasthe actualtemperatureinthe
refrigeratorandfreezer.Theactualtemperaturemayvary slightlyfromthe SETtemperaturebasedon
usageandoperatingenvironment.
Onsomemodels,settingbothcontrolsto the warmestsettinguntilthe displayflashes(off)willstop
coolingin boththefreezerandrefrigeratorcompartments.
Onothermodels,settingeithercontrolto the warmestsettinguntilthe displayflashes(off)willstop
thecoolingtothe freezerandrefrigerator.
NOTE'Turningthe refrigeratoroff viathe controlsonthetouch paneldoesnot shutoff electrical
powerto the refrigerator.
NOTE:Therefrigeratorisshippedwithprotectivefilm coveringthetemperaturecontrols,tfthisfilmwas
notremovedduringinstallation,removeit now.
Performance Air Flow System
ThePerformanceAir-FlowSystemis
designedto maximizetemperaturecontrol
inthe refrigeratorandfreezercompartments.This
uniquespecialfeatureconsistsofthe AirTower
alongthebackwallof therefrigeratorandtheAir
Tunnelonthe bottomportion
ofthefreezerrearwall.Placingfoodinfront
ofthelouversonthesecomponentswill not affect
performance.AlthoughtheAirTower
andtheAirTunnelcan beremoved,doing
sowill affecttemperatureperformance.
