saucers.However,other itemssuchaspots,pans,
and platesmaybeplacedinthe upperrack.Thisis
alsoa secureplacefor dishwasher-safeplasticitems.
Theupperrackcanbe usedfor oddsizedutensils.
Saucepans,mixingbowls,andothersimilarlyshaped
itemsshouldbeplacedfacedown forbestwash
performance.Ensuresmallplasticitemsaresecure
sothattheycannotfall intotheheaterat the bottom
ofthe dishwasher,potentiallydamagingthe item.
Onsomemodels,theupperrackmaybeadjusted
to accommodatelargeritems.Toadjustthe upper
rack,fullyextendtheupperrackandremovethe two
plasticendcapsonthe frontof the rails.Removethe
upperrack.Selectthesetof rollersonthe sideofthe
rackthat providesthe desiredheight,and reinstall
the upperrackbyguidingtherackrailsbetweenthe
appropriatesetof rollers.Withthe rackreinstalled,
replacethetwo plasticendcaps,ensuringthesnap
isproperlyengaged.Failureto properlyengage
theendcapsmayresultinthe rackfallingfrom the
dishwasher.
Toaddflexibilityinloading,the utilityshelfIonsome
models)may beplacedinthe upor downposition.
Theshelfmayalsobeusedtosecurestemwaresuch
aswineglasses.Becausethesestemwareitems
comeinvarioussizes,slowlypushtherackinto
ensurethe itemsdo notbumpintothe edgesof the
dishwasher,whichmaycausedamageto the items.
tt isimportantto ensurethat itemsdonot protrude
throughthe bottomof the rackorsilverwarebasket
(onsomemodels)wheretheywillblocktherotation
ofthemiddlesprayarm.Thiscouldresultinnoise
duringoperationand/orpoorwashperformance.

that no items will block
rotation of thewash
arms.
