If your model has o door latch, do not lock the oven door with the latch during convection cooking. The latch is used
for self-cleaning only.
For best results when roasting large
turkeys and roasts, we recommend
using the probe included in the
convection oven.

How to Set the Upper Oven for Convection Roasting when Using the Probe
(on some models)
Thedisplagwill flash PROBEand the oven
control will signal ifthe probe is insertedinto
the outlet, and gou have not set a probe
temperature and touched the Start pad.
[] Placethe shelf in the shelf position (A).
Insertthe probe completelginto the food.
[] Plugthe probe into the outlet in the
oven. Make sureit ispushed all the wag
in.Closethe oven dooE
[] Touch the Convection Roast pad,
[] Touch the number padsto set the
desiredoven temperature.
[] Touch the Probe pad.
[] Touch the number padsto set the
desiredinternal food temperature.
Tochange the oven temperature during
the Convection Roastcgcle,touch the
Convection Roast pad and then touch the
number padsto set the new desired
temperature.
[] Touch the Start pad,
When the oven starts to heat, the word
LO will be in the displag.
After the internal temperature of the food
reaches IO0°F,the changing internal
temperature will be shown in the displag,
[] When the internal temperature of the
food reaches the number gou have set,
the probe and the oven turn off and the
oven control signals.To stop the signal,
touch the Clear/Off pad. Usehot pads
to remove the probe from the food. Do
not usetongs to pull on it-theg might
damage it.
CAUTION: To prevent possible bums, do not
unplug the probe from the oven outlet until
the oven has cooled. Do not store the probe
in the oven.
NOTE:
If theprobe isremoved from the food
beforethe final temperature isreached,a
tone will sound and the display will flash
until theprobe is removed from the oven.
Youwill hear a fan while cookingwith this
feature.Thefan will stop when the door is
opened but the heat will not turn off.
Youcan use the timer eventhough you
cannot use timed ovenoperations while
usingthe probe.
