  Several factors can prevent your GE Cooktop burners from lighting: * Ensure the electrical plug is fully inserted into a properly grounded outlet. * Check that the gas supply is connected and turned on (refer to the Installation Instructions). * Replace any blown fuses or reset tripped circuit breakers in your home. * Make sure burner parts are correctly replaced (refer to the Cleaning the Cooktop section). * Clean any soil from the electrodes under the burners (refer to the Cleaning the Cooktop section). * Unlock the cooktop (refer to the USING THE COOKTOP section). * Clean any blockage in the igniter hole (on some models) (refer to the Cleaning the Cooktop section).
