Don’t attempt to repair or replace any pad of your hood unless it is specifically
recommended in the book. All other servicing should be referred to a qualified
technician.
Read the warranty on the warranty sheet* which accompanies your Use and Care
Book.
Disconnect hood at range circuit breaker or main fuse before performing any
service.
*lf you did not receive the warranty sheet, drop a card to the Publications Distribution Section, General Electric
Co., P.O. Box 111, New Concord, Ohio 43762.
Give them the
completemodel number of your hood plus your name, address and zip code, and a warranty
will be sent you.

The hood is equipped with two removable metal filters that separate grease from the
air being vented through the hood. Filters must be in place and relatively clean to do
an efficientjob. Metal filters should be cleaned at least once a month. DO NOT OPER-
