Refrigerants
Allrefrigerationproductscontainrefrigerants,whichunderfederal
lawmustberemovedpriortoproductdisposal.Ifyouaregetting
ridofanoldrefrigerationproduct,checkwiththecompanyhan-
dlingthedisposalaboutwhattodo.
PROPER DISPOSAL OF YOUR OLD REFRIGERATOR
Do not, under any circumstances, cut or remove the third (ground) prong from the power cord.
For personal safety, this appliance must be properly grounded.
Thepowercordofthisapplianceisequippedwitha3-prong(grounding)
plugwhichmateswithastandard3-prong(grounding)walloutlettomini-
mizethepossibilityofelectricshockhazardfromthisappliance.
Havethewalloutletandcircuitcheckedbyaqualifiedelectriciantomake
suretheoutletisproperlygrounded.
Whereastandard2-prongwalloutletisencountered,itisyourpersonal
responsibilityandobligationtohaveitreplacedwithaproperlygrounded
3-prongwalloutlet.Donotuseanadapter.
Therefrigeratorshouldalwaysbepluggedintoitsownindividualelectrical
outletwhichhasavoltageratingthatmatchestheratingplate.
A115VoltAC,60Hz,15-or20-ampfused,groundedelectricalsupplyis
required.
Thisprovidesthebestperformanceandalsopreventsoverloadinghouse
wiringcircuitswhichcouldcauseafirehazardfromoverheatedwires.
Neverunplugyourrefrigeratorbypullingonthepowercord.Alwaysgrip
plugfirmlyandpullstraightoutfromtheoutlet.
Repairorreplaceimmediatelyallpowercordsthathavebecomefrayed
orotherwisedamaged.Donotuseacordthatshowscracksorabrasion
damagealongitslengthorateitherend.
Whenmovingtherefrigeratorawayfromthewall,becarefulnottoroll
overordamagethepowercord.
