To Use the Dispenser
SelectCUBED,CRUSHEDor WATER.
Presstheglassgentlyagainstthetop
ofthedispensercradle.
Thespillshelfisnotself-draining.Toreducewater
spotting,theshelfanditsgrilleshouldbecleaned
regularly.
Ifno waterisdispensedwhentherefrigeratorLs
first installed, there may beairin the waterline
,system.Pressthedispenserarmforat leasttwo
minutesto removetrappedairfromthewaterline
andtofillthe water,system.Toflushoutimpurities
inthe waterline,throwawaythefirst sixglassfuls
of wate_
CAUTION"Neverputfingersorany otherobjects
intotheicecrusherdischargeopening.
Locking the Dispenser
PresstheLOCKorLOCKCONTROLSpadfor
3secondsto lockthe dispenserandcontrolpanel.
Tounlock,pressandholdthe padagainfor
3seconds.
whenthe dispensercradleispressed.Formodels
witha bulb,if thelight burnsout,it shouldbe
replacedwith a6 watt 12Vmaximumbulb.For
LEDmodels,contactFactoryService.
Door Alarm
UseDoorAlarmto soundif eitherdoorisopen
formorethan3minutes.Thealarmwillstop
oncethe doorisclosed.ForLCDmodels,a popup
screenwillappear.Thealarmcanbesilenced
bytouchingthe LCDscreen.

Dispenser Light
TheLIGHTpadturnsthe night light in
thedispenseronand off.Thelightalsocomeson
Quick- Ice
Whenyouneedto speedupiceproduction,use
theQuickIcefeature.Whilethisfeatureisturnedon,
thefreezerfan runscontinuouslyfor 48hours,or
untilthefeatureisturnedOFF.Duringthisperiod,
iceproductionwillincreaseupto 40%.Modelswith
theintegratedicefeaturesystemrequireat FIRST
USEatleasthalfan8oz.glassof iceto bedispensed
every6 to12hours.Thiswillhelptheicemakerfill
thebucketproperlysothatdispensingis better.

Precise Fill (on some models)
Thiswaterdispenserisequippedwith a feature
called"precisefill."Thisfeatureallowsyouto
choosea preciseamountofwater (cupsor
ounces)that youwouldlikedispensed.Pints
andLitersarealsoavailablefor LCDmodels.

Activate By:Usingthearrowbuttonsto select
thedesiredamount.PressMOREUNITSto select
betweenCUPS,OUNCES,PINTSor LITERS.
ffyou selectedOUNCESpressthe A or V pad
to selectthe numberof ouncesyouwould like
to havedispensedbetween2-99ounces.
Thedefaultis8 ounces.
Ifyou selectedCUPSpressthe A Orv, pad
toselecttheamountyouwouldliketo have
dispensed.Theyaredisplayedas 1/4,1/3,1/2,2/3
and3/4,with thehighestamountbeing163/4
cups.Thedefaultis 1cup.
O Pressthecupagainstthecradleandwater
willbegindispensing,ttwill automaticallystop
whenthe amountsethasbeendispensed.
Thedisplaywillshowthe amountofwater
dispensed,beep,then resetafter5 seconds.
NOTE:Donot leavethe dispenserunattended
whenwaterisbeingdispensed.

tfyou wouldliketo stopdispensingwater
beforethe specifiedamounthasbeen
dispensed,justremovethe cupfromthe
cradle.Thedisplaywillshowthe amountthat
hasbeendispensedfor 5seconds,tfthe cup
switchispressedagainwithinthattime,the
dispenserwillcontinueupto thesetamount.
