Thetemperaturecontrolsarepresetin thefactoryat 3/°F fortherefrigeratorcompartmentandO°Fforthe
freezercompartment.Allow24hoursfor thetemperatureto stabilizeto thepresetrecommendedsettings.
ThetemperaturecontrolscandisplayboththeSETtemperatureaswellasthe actualtemperaturein
therefrigeratorandfreezer.TheactualtemperaturemayvaryslightlyfromtheSETtemperaturebased
onusageandoperatingenvironment.
Onsomemodels,settingbothcontrolsto thewarmestsettinguntilthedisplayflashes(off)willstop
coolinginboththefreezerandrefrigeratorcompartments.
Onothermodels,settingeithercontrolto thewarmestsettinguntilthe displayflashes(off)willstop
thecoolingto thefreezerandrefrigerator.

ThePerformanceAir-FlowSystemisdesignedto
maximizetemperaturecontrolinthe refrigerator
andfreezercompartments.Thisuniquespecial
featureconsistsofthe AirToweralongthe back
wallof the refrigeratorandthe AirTunnelonthe
bottomportionof thefreezerrearwall.Placing
foodinfront of thelouversonthesecomponents
willnot affectperformance.AlthoughtheAir
TowerandtheAirTunnelcan beremoved,doing
sowillaffecttemperatureperformance.(For

How it Works
TurboCoolrapidlycoolsthe refrigerator
compartmentinorderto morequicklycoolfoods.
UseTurboCoolwhenaddinga largeamount
offoodto therefrigeratorcompartment,putting
awayfoodsafterthey havebeensittingout at
roomtemperatureor whenputtingawaywarm
leftovers,it canalsobeusedif the refrigeratorhas
beenwithout powerfor anextendedperiod.
Onceactivated,thecompressorwillturnon
immediatelyandthefanswillcycleon andoff
athighspeedas neededforeighthours.
Thecompressorwillcontinueto rununtilthe
refrigeratorcompartmentcoolsto approximately
34°F(1°C),thenit willcycleon andoffto maintain
thissetting.After8 hours,or ifTur6oCoolis
pressedagain,the refrigeratorcompartment
willreturnto the originalsetting.
Howto Use
PressTurboCool.TheTurboCooltemperature
displaywillshowTcandthe LEDwillbeactivated.
AfterTurboCoolis complete,the TurboCool
indicatorlightwill goout.
NOTES:Therefrigeratortemperaturecannot
bechangedduringTurboCool.
Thefreezertemperatureisnotaffected
duringTurboCool.
Whenopeningthe refrigeratordoor
duringTurboCool,thefanswillcontinue
torun ifthey havecycledon.
