To Use the Dispenser
SelectCUBEDICE,CRUSHEDICEorWATER.
Pressthe glassgentlyagainstthetop of the
dispensercradle.
Thespillshelfis notself-draining.Toreducewater
spotting,the shelfanditsgrilleshouldbecleaned
regularly.
Ifnowaterisdispensedwhentherefrigeratoris
firstinstalled,theremaybeairinthe waterline
system.Pressthedispenserarm for at leasttwo
minutestoremovetrappedairfromthewaterline
andto fillthewatersystem.Toflushoutimpurities
inthewaterline,throwawaythe firstsixglassfuls
ofwater.
CAUTION:Neverput fingersoranyotherobjects
intotheicecrusherdischargeopening.
Locking the Dispenser
Pressthe LOCKpadfor 3secondsto lockthe
dispenserandcontrolpanel.Tounlock,press
andholdthepadagainfor 3 seconds.
Dispenser Light
TheLIGHTpadturnsthenight light inthe
dispenseronandoff.Thelightalsocomeson
whenthe dispensercradleispressed.Onsome
models,ifthis lightburnsout, it shouldbereplaced
witha 6watt 12Vmaximumbulb.
Quick ice
Whenyou needicein a hurry,presstheQUICK
ICEpadto speedup iceproduction.Thiswill
increaseice productionfor thefollowing48 hours
or untilyou pressthe padagain.
Door Alarm
Tosetthe alarm,presstheDOORALARMpaduntil
theindicatorlightcomeson.Thisalarmwillsound
ifeitherdooris openformorethan 3minutes.
Thelightgoesoutandthebeepingstopswhen
youclosethedoor.
Precise Fill
Thiswaterdispenserisequippedwith afeature
called"precisefill."Thisfeatureallowsyouto
choosea preciseamountof water(cupsor
ounces)that you wouldlikedispensed.
0 Pressthe WATERpad.
Pressthe CUPSorOUNCESpad.
Selectthe preciseamountofwateryou
wouldlikedispensed.
IfyouselectedOUNCES,pressthearrow
padson eithersideofthe displayto select
thenumberofouncesyouwouldliketo have
dispensedbetween1-99ounces.
IfyouselectedCUPS,pressthe arrowpads
ontheleftofthedisplayto selectthe whole
cups(1-16cups)and/orthe arrow padson
therightsideof the displaytoselectfractions
ofa cup(i/4-3/4 cups).
Pressthe cupagainstthecradleandwater
willbegindispensing,ttwill automatically
stopwhentheamountsethasbeen
dispensed.Thedisplaywillshowthere
isnowaterlefttodispense,then reset.
NOTE:Donot leavethedispenserunattended
whenwaterisbeingdispensed.

beforethespecifiedamounthasbeen
dispensed,justremovethe cupfromthe
cradle.Thedisplaywillshowthe amount
leftto dispense.
Important Facts About Your Dispenser
iii:Donot addicefromtraysor bagsto
thestoragedrawer,tt may notcrushor
dispensewell.
Avoidoverfillingglosswithiceand useof
narrowglasses.Backed-upicecanjam the
chuteor causethe doorinthe chutetofreeze
shut.tfice isblockingthe chute,pokeit through
with a woodenspoon.
Beveragesandfoodsshouldnot bequick-
chilledintheicestoragedrawer.Cons,bottles
orfoodpackagesinthe storagedrawermay
causethe icemakeroraugertojam.
Tokeepdispensedicefrom missingtheglass,
putthe glasscloseto,but not touching,the
dispenseropening.
iii:Somecrushedicemay bedispensedeven
thoughyou selectedCUBEDICE.Thishappens
occasionallywhen afew cubesaccidentallyget
directedto the crusher.
iii:Aftercrushediceis dispensed,somewatermay
dripfrom thechute.
Sometimesa smallmoundof snowwillform
onthedoorintheicechute.Thisconditionis
normaland usuallyoccurswhen youhave
dispensedcrushedicerepeatedly.Thesnow
willeventuallyevaporate.
