  Your Generac Power Systems Portable Generator might not start or could run rough due to several reasons: * The Run/Stop switch might be set to "Stop": Set the switch to "Run." * The air cleaner might be dirty: Clean or replace the air cleaner. * The generator might be out of gasoline: Fill the fuel tank. * The gasoline might be stale: Drain the gas tank and fill with fresh fuel. * The spark plug wire might not be connected: Connect the wire to the spark plug. * The spark plug might be bad: Replace the spark plug. * There might be water in the gasoline: Drain the gas tank and fill with fresh fuel. * The engine might be overchoking: Put the choke lever to the "no choke" position. * The oil level might be low: Fill the crankcase to the proper level.
