With the GV60, Genesis introduces a facial recognition system
called Face Connect. Touch the driver’s door handle, and a
camera integrated into the B-pillar recognizes your face,
unlocking the doors without a key fob. Once inside, touching
the Fingerprint Reader starts your GV60 and loads your
preferences for the position of the driver’s seat, steering
wheel and side mirrors – as well as your presets for the
infotainment system and Head-Up Display.
An advanced version of our revolutionary Genesis Digital Key is
also available, which lets you open and start your GV60 using
a compatible smartphone. Ultra-wideband sensors can detect
your phone and extend the GV60’s flush door handles as you
approach.

Custom driver presets can be saved to the cloud
and pushed to your vehicle, and you can share your Digital
Key with up to three people.

Your GV60 can warn of vehicles approaching from the side
while you are exiting a parking space in reverse gear.

Another feature – Parking Collision-Avoidance Assist – uses
the vehicle’s camera and ultrasonic sensors to warn of
pedestrians or obstacles while entering or exiting a parking
space. If necessary, both features apply emergency braking
automatically to help prevent a mishap from occurring.

POWER HANDS-FREE SMART LIFTGATE
WITH AUTO OPEN
Headed back to your GV60 with your hands full of luggage
or shopping bags? No problem. Stand at the rear of your
GV60 for three seconds, and the power liftgate recognizes
the Genesis key in your pocket or purse, unlocking and
opening wide automatically.

SAFE EXIT ASSIST AND
ADVANCED REAR OCCUPANT ALERT
After parking, Safe Exit Assist issues an alert when a
vehicle is detected to be approaching from behind, letting
the driver know it is not safe for passengers to open the
street-side door.

Advanced Rear Occupant Alert uses
radar sensors to recognize children in the back seat or pets
in the cargo area, helping to ensure your family’s safety
even after you’ve exited your GV60.
