1
. Prepare Inflator
(
Figure A)
NOTE: Do not activate a CO
2
cartridge until ready to use.
Threaded CO
2
cartridges:
Thread cartridge into the threaded base of inflator until the cartridge just
c
ontacts the puncture pin, then quickly and firmly twist to puncture (activate)
the CO
2
cartridge. Inflator is now charged.

. Connect to tire valve
(
Figure B)
IMPORTANT: Presta valve MUST be opened before inflating tire. Failure to
open valve completely may cause injury or damage to inflator.
Presta or Schrader valves: Connect inflator to tire filling valve by firmly grip-
ping the green dispensing nozzle using your thumb and one or two additional
f
ingers to push inflator securely onto valve. You may need to hold tire valve in
place by pushing against tire tread with thumb. See Figure B.

cartridge in your palm and gently grip the cartridge for use as a handle.

lace thumb on the silver colored region of your Air Chuck SL, near the gas
cartridge threaded connection. Gas will begin to flow ONLY as you actuate
your Air Chuck SL by pushing the inflator further onto the fill valve.

ompletely stop gas flow by releasing the actuation.
