What to do if GEOSUN eFix R1 GPS GPRS/3G dial-up fails?
    • M
      Mark WolfeAug 3, 2025
If the GPRS/3G dial-up fails on your GEOSUN GPS, several factors could be responsible. First, ensure the SIM card is properly inserted; carefully remove and re-insert it into the card slot. Second, the SIM card may need to be topped up, or the GPRS/3G internet service may not be active, so contact your operator to resolve this. A weak local network signal could also be the cause; try moving to an area with a stronger signal. In areas with very weak GPRS/3G signals, consider switching to radio communication. Finally, electromagnetic interference from sources like television towers or high-voltage lines can disrupt the signal; move away from such areas.

Why is my GEOSUN GPS satellite signal poor?
    • D
      Donald MonroeAug 10, 2025
A poor satellite signal on your GEOSUN GPS can occur if you are in a location that obstructs the signal. This includes being in a tunnel, under a viaduct, or near large bodies of water. To improve the signal, change your location.

What to do if my GEOSUN GPS cannot charge the battery?
    • D
      Danielle BrownAug 17, 2025
If your GEOSUN GPS cannot charge, it might be due to temperature issues. If the internal temperature of the receiver mainframe exceeds 65?, temporarily turn off the receiver and recharge it when the temperature drops to the allowed range. Keep the device away from heat sources like sunshine, as it will automatically start charging when the temperature is within the correct range. Also, if the internal temperature falls below -45?, move the receiver indoors to bring the temperature back above -45?, after that charging should be possible.

How to fix GEOSUN eFix R1 that can’t turn on?
    • N
      Nicholas MorganAug 26, 2025
If your GEOSUN GPS won’t turn on, it could be due to a very low battery; in that case, recharge the battery. Another reason might be that the working temperature is outside the range of -45? to 65?; move the device to an environment where the temperature is within this allowed range.
