The GEYA GPS8-05 is a voltage and current protector designed for household equipment, offering comprehensive protection against overvoltage, undervoltage, and overcurrent conditions. It features voltage and current monitoring, utilizing special metering chips to detect voltage, current, electricity, and power. The device is built with a double bus wiring design for enhanced durability and reliability.
The GPS8-05 provides protection by allowing users to set specific overvoltage, undervoltage, and overcurrent values. When these set limits are exceeded, the device automatically triggers a protection mechanism. A key feature is its self-reset capability after a fault, ensuring continuous operation once the fault condition is cleared. The device incorporates a digital display that shows real-time voltage and current values, as well as fault statuses, indicated by LED indicators. It is designed for 1-MODULE, DIN rail mounting, making it suitable for integration into standard electrical panels.
The device's panel diagram includes LED indicators for overvoltage (>U), undervoltage (<U), and overcurrent (>I), along with displays for operating voltage and current values. A power open and close indicator (M) is also present.
To enter the parameter setting mode, press and hold the (M) key for 3 seconds. Once in setting mode, the (∧) and (∨) keys are used to increase or decrease values. Holding these keys allows for rapid adjustment. If no operation is performed for 60 seconds, the device will automatically exit the setting mode. Users can also press and hold the (M) key for 3 seconds at any time to exit and save the settings.
The following parameters can be configured:
Under normal operation, the load can be switched on or off manually by pressing the (∨) key for 0.5 seconds.
During power-on or fault reset, the product will display a countdown based on the set delay time (Tp or Tr). The device will enter its running state once the countdown concludes.
The device can display real-time power (in Watts) and total quantity of electricity consumed (in kWh).
The manual provides wiring diagrams for two models: GPS8-02U (upper incoming line) and GPS8-02D (lower incoming line), illustrating the connection points for Neutral (N) and Line (L) terminals.
In the power-off state, press and hold the (∧) and (∨) keys simultaneously, then power on the device to restore factory settings.
