The GEYA GRT8-WS is a WiFi time-control relay designed for periodically and regularly turning on and off loads, typically controlling household equipment such as lights and appliances.

Function Description

The GRT8-WS relay allows users to manage connected loads through a WiFi connection. It supports access via the Tuya Smart App, enabling convenient setting of on and off times for the load. The device also offers manual control for switching the load on or off. A unique feature is the ability to set a cycle on/off function during the specified "on" time. The relay is designed for 1-MODULE, DIN rail mounting, making it suitable for integration into standard electrical panels.

Usage Features

Installation and Setup:

App Installation: Download the "Tuya Smart" App by scanning the provided QR code or searching for it in the App store.
Adding Device: For first-time use or after restoring factory settings, press and hold the power button for 5 seconds. The device will enter distribution network state, indicated by a flashing WiFi indicator.
Connecting WiFi: Ensure your phone is connected to a WiFi network. Open the Tuya Smart App, click the "add device" button, and follow the prompts. Once added, the device icon will appear in the App's main interface, and the WiFi indicator on the device will illuminate.
Control: The load can be turned on/off regularly or remotely via the mobile phone App. Manual control is also possible using the buttons on the equipment, with the ON/OFF indicator showing the current status.

Configuration:

Device Naming: The device name can be changed within the App for easier management.
Cycle On/Off: The App allows setting a cycle on/off function during the "on" time.

Panel Indicators:

WiFi Status Indication: Shows the current WiFi connection status.
Relay Output Indicator: Indicates the status of the relay output.
ON/OFF WIFI Configuration Button: Used for manual control and entering WiFi configuration mode.
APP Download QR Code: For easy access to the Tuya Smart App.

Wiring Diagrams:

Load ≤ 16A (AC-1): A simple circuit connecting the relay to a load and a 220V AC power source.
Load > 16A (AC-15): A more complex circuit for higher loads, also connecting to a 220V AC power source.

Maintenance Features

Reconfiguring WiFi:

Deleting Device: If the device is no longer needed, it can be deleted from the App. This action will restore its factory settings, allowing it to be added again later.
Re-entering WiFi Configuration: To reconfigure WiFi at any time, press and hold the button for 5 seconds. The device will re-enter the WiFi configuration state, allowing it to be added again through the App.

Disposal:

Electrical Waste: All electrical waste must be disposed of in compliance with current WEEE regulations.

Installation: Products must be installed by qualified electricians.
Safety Standards: All electrical connections of the time relay must comply with appropriate safety standards.
