The PPPoE Unnumber Tab
Advanced feature of the B49G is that it supports services that offer
multiple global IP addresses, with each IP address requires its own
setting. This feature is normally only found on enterprise class routers.
The B49G has an
IP allocation scheme capable of directly
assigning global IP to LAN clients.
You can only take advantage of this feature if your ISP service packages
will provide you with a range of valid “Global IP”. (For example
61.222.10.1 ~ 61.222.10.7) These seven addresses can be individually
configured.
Global IP An IP within the range of IP’s assigned to you by your
ISP
Protocol The protocol used for the Unnumbered service
Port The port number of the service used by the LAN side
Virtual Server IP The computer on the LAN that will be providing the
Unnumbered virtual services
Example: Taking the IP address of 192.168.1.1 of a PC connected to the
B49G for example would use the following settings:
Global IP: 61.222.10.2
Protocol: TCP
Port: 21
Virtual Server IP: 192.168.1.1
Enable: enable
