Quick Button
This motherboard has 3 quick buttons: power button, reset button and clear CMOS button. The power button
and reset button allow users to quickly turn on/off or reset the computer in an open-case environment when
they want to change hardware components or conduct hardware testing. Use this button to clear the BIOS
congurationandresettheCMOSvaluestofactorydefaultswhenneeded.

• Always turn off your computer and unplug the power cord from the power outlet before clearing
the CMOS values.
• NOTE: Do not use the clear CMOS button when the system is on, or the system may shutdown
and data loss or damage may occur.
• After system restart, go to BIOS Setup to load factory defaults (select Load Optimized Defaults) or
manuallyconguretheBIOSsettings(refertoChapter2,"BIOSSetup,"forBIOScongurations).

OC Button
The OC buttons help enthusiasts and overclockers not only get the most performance from their hardware, but

OC button:
Press this button to load the most optimized GIGABYTE overclock-
ingcongurationforyourprocessorandmemory.
OC Ignition button (OC_IGNITION):
The OC Ignition feature maintains power to your motherboard and
connected components while the system is shut down. After press-
ing this button, be sure to press the power button to take effect.
