Function Description:

The Stealth Racer W017 offers several core functions:

  • Real Time: Displays the current time, including hour, minute, second, AM/PM, month, day, and day of the week. It supports both 12-hour and 24-hour formats and features an auto-calendar pre-programmed from the year 2000 to 2099.
  • Dual Time Mode: Allows the user to track a second time zone in addition to the home time.
  • Race Countdown Timer (Regatta Mode): A user-defined countdown timer with a key lock function to prevent accidental operation. It has a count-up range of 23 hours, 59 minutes, and 59 seconds. This mode includes an alert system that can be set to sound, vibrate, or both. The alert activates once per minute for the last 10 minutes, once per 10 seconds for the final minute, and once per second for the last 5 seconds. After the countdown finishes, it alerts three times for 30 seconds.
  • Stopwatch (Chronograph Mode): Measures elapsed time with a resolution of 1/100 second. It can recall lap times and has a count-up range of 23 hours, 59 minutes, and 59 seconds. The maximum lap count is 99 laps.
  • Compass Mode: Provides bearing information and displays the current time. It includes a declination setting to account for the difference between True North and Magnetic North, and a calibration function requiring the watch to be rotated 360 degrees.
  • Daily Alarm: Features one daily alarm that sounds for 30 seconds at the set alarm time.

Usage Features:

  • Power Down Mode: The watch is supplied in Power Down Mode to preserve battery life. To exit, press and hold any button for 5 seconds.
  • Button Operations:
    • Mode Button [M]: Scrolls through Function Modes, returns to Function Mode Menu from any function mode, and exits settings displays to return to the previous level. In Regatta Mode & Chronograph Mode, press and hold for 2 seconds to reset when stopped.
    • ST./STP Button [S/S]: In Clock Mode, toggles Home & Dual Time display (press and hold for 2 seconds to keep the changed display). In Regatta Mode, starts/stops the countdown timer. In Chronograph Mode, starts/stops timers. In settings, acts as an "UP" button.
    • OK/LK Button [O/L]: Enters individual functions from the Function Menu, selects options from the Settings Menu, and toggles lock/unlock in Regatta Mode. In settings, acts as a "Select" button.
    • Lap/Reset Button [L/S]: In Clock Mode, press and hold for 5 seconds to enter Power Save Mode. In Regatta Mode, resets the timer when stopped (press and hold for 2 seconds). In Chronograph Mode, sets lap time when running, and resets when stopped (press and hold for 2 seconds). In settings, acts as a "Down" button.
  • Power Saving Modes:
    • Standby Mode: If no key is pressed for 1 hour, the watch enters Standby Mode, showing only the current time. Press any key to exit. This mode can be enabled/disabled in System Settings.
    • Power Save Mode: Can only be entered from Clock Mode by pressing and holding Lap/Reset [L/S] for 5 seconds. Press any key to exit.
    • Power Down Mode: Can only be entered from Clock Mode by pressing and holding ST./STP Button [S/S] & Mode Button [M] for 5 seconds. Press any key (and hold for 5 seconds) to exit.
    • In Power Saving or Power Down Mode, the display is off, but all timers continue running.
  • Auto Lock Function (Regatta Mode): Keys can be set to auto-lock to prevent accidental operation. This can be toggled ON/OFF in Settings Mode.
  • Keytone: The watch can be set to produce a keytone when buttons are pressed. This can be toggled ON/OFF in System Settings.
  • Contrast Adjustment: The display contrast can be adjusted in System Settings.

Maintenance Features:

  • General Care: Avoid exposing the watch to extreme conditions over extended periods. Avoid rough use or sudden impacts.
  • Cleaning: Clean with a soft cloth when needed.
  • Storage: Power down the watch and store it in a dry place when not in use for extended periods.
  • Battery Replacement: A low battery indicator appears when battery capacity is low, and replacement is recommended at this time.
  • Water Resistance: To maintain water-resistant integrity, it is recommended to use a certified watch repairer when opening the watch case.
