Each GIO Golf Enclosed Mobility Scooter arrives 95% assembled and
requires the following to complete it. We strongly recommend 2 people for
assembly, as certain components are large and will be more easily attached
with support from a second person. Please note scooters ship with the
parking brake engaged and will not operate or move until released. Please
see pg 15 for details.
Step 1 - Unboxing
Carefully begin with the topmost pieces, unfasten the bolts in the shipping
frame and remove the pieces. Once the upper frame and wrapping on the
scooter is removed the unit’s breaker can be turned on (see instructions
ahead) and driven off the bottom portion of the frame. All of the components
should be safely stored within the vehicle for travel.
Components include:
-Bumpers (front/rear), bumper hardware (x8 bolt - largest)
-Mirrors (left/right)
-Clear drip guards (left/right - self-adhesive)
-Keys & fob (x2)
-Charger
Step 2 - Mirrors
Mirrors are individually packed to protect them during shipping. Locate the
correct side mirror, remove the hex head bolts pre-installed into the
mounting on the door front, align the mirror with mounting holes and secure
it into place with the removed bolts. Repeat on the other side.
