If the brightness is not adjustable, Backlight Control Board of the LCD might be a problem.
Disassemble the front case and replace the LCD module (Refer Part Replacement Manual)
You can see the Kapton tape is attached on the control board.
Kapton tape can be re-attached after replacing the LCD.
• Turn on the power before assembly and check the LCD screen operation.
• Wear gloves as necessary during disassembly and assembly.
