What to do if my Glacier bay VWD1066BLS Water Dispenser is not dispensing water?
    • R
      renee29Aug 1, 2025
If your Glacier bay Water Dispenser isn't dispensing water, possible causes include an empty water bottle (replace it with a full one), mineral deposits clogging the tanks (refer to the 'Cleaning the Reservoirs' section), an air pocket (push down on the dispenser buttons to prime the unit), or ice buildup due to a thermostat set too cold (unplug the unit overnight, then reset, setting the thermostat to MIN and slowly increasing it based on your need for cold water).

If your Glacier bay Water Dispenser is noisy, it could be due to the bottle making a gurgling noise as it fills the tank, which is normal. Alternatively, the water dispenser might not be level. Make sure the dispenser is on an even surface that can support its full weight.

      Arthur RodriguezNov 14, 2025
If the water from your Glacier bay Water Dispenser isn't hot or cold enough, several factors could be the cause. It might be that all the water in the tank has been used (replace the empty bottle with a full one, and wait approximately 1 hour for the water to cool / 3 minutes for the water to heat after activating the kettle feature button). Check if the unit is plugged in. Ensure the kettle feature is activated by pressing the kettle feature button. Also, the circuit breaker in your home may be tripped, or the fuse has blown (reset the breaker or replace the fuse). If the temperature limit has been reached, allow the hot water tank to cool for approximately 30 minutes.
