Wheelchair Securement
The securement of the wheelchair must be in a forward-facing position in a motor
vehicle. Fig 10.

Four Point Strap –Type Tie-down system.
The Tie-down system used must comply with ISO 10542-1. This will consist of two
Front and two Rear attachment point and occupant restraint belts. The systems must
be fitted and used in accordance with the manufactures instruction along with the
wheelchair manufacturer instructions.
