Why do the buttons not work on Global VR Aliens Extermination?
    • L
      Linda LeachAug 25, 2025
If the buttons on your Global VR Arcade Game Machines aren't working, first, turn off the AC power. Then, check that all wires are firmly connected to each button and the GVRI/O PCB, ensuring no wires are frayed or shorting. Also, verify the wires are connected to the correct spades on the micro switches. If the wiring is correct, the micro switch on the button might be faulty and need replacement. Finally, ensure all connections to the GVRI/O PCB are secure; if the problem persists, the PCB might need replacing.

What to do if there's no video and audio on Global VR Aliens Extermination?
    • D
      Danielle ScottAug 26, 2025
If your Global VR Arcade Game Machine has no video and no audio, verify that the computer is ON by checking the LED on the front. Ensure the line voltage switch on the back is set to the correct voltage (115V or 230V). Make sure the AC power cord is firmly connected to both the computer and the power strip, and that the power strip LED is on. Try turning off the power strip, waiting 20 seconds, and turning it back on to reboot the computer. Confirm the On/Off switch on the back of the computer is in the On (I) position and that 'After Power Failure' in the BIOS is set to 'Power On'. If problems persist, corrupted software may be the cause, so try reloading it from the CDs. If the issue continues, a faulty hard drive may be the reason; contact Technical Support.

Why is there no audio or poor sound in Global VR Aliens Extermination Arcade Game Machines?
    • C
      Christina BruceAug 27, 2025
If you experience no audio or poor sound from one or more speakers on your Global VR Arcade Game Machines, first, use the VOL UP button on the Operator Button Panel to raise the volume. Next, verify that all wires are firmly connected to the speakers, GVRI/O PCB, and the green computer audio port, ensuring correct port connections and no frayed or shorting wires. Inspect each speaker for visible damage by removing the grill. Run the Sound Test from System Tests in the Operator Menu to check each speaker. A weak or low muffled sound indicates reversed speaker wires, so check each speaker for this issue. If problems persist, connect stereo headphones to the green computer audio port to verify audio is working at the computer.

How do I fix 'game dongle not found' on Global VR Aliens Extermination Arcade Game Machines?
    • G
      Gerald WilliamsAug 27, 2025
If the game dongle is not found by the system computer in your Global VR Arcade Game Machines, first, ensure the game dongle is properly connected and power the cabinet off and on. If the issue persists, the game dongle may be faulty or the wrong version; check that it's connected properly (USB dongles illuminate when recognized, parallel dongles do not). Contact Tech Support if a new dongle is needed. If a different game dongle also isn't recognized after a reboot, the port may be faulty; contact Tech Support.

      Sara RobertsonSep 4, 2025
If you're getting the wrong number of credits on your Global VR Arcade Game Machine when inserting coins or bills, first, adjust the settings in the Coin Options of the Operator Menu. If that doesn't solve it, disconnect the cabinet from AC power and check that all wires are firmly connected to the coin mech and bill validator, and that ground wires are properly connected, ensuring no wires are frayed or shorting. Also, check the coin mech to make sure it isn't jammed, is properly aligned, and latched to the coin door; repair or replace it if it's faulty.
