TROUBLESHOOTING
The spot cooler has three automatic shutoffs.
1. Overheat Shutoff protection: The cooler has an overheat protection system
in the compressor that shuts off the unit if it overheats. Overheating can
be caused by Low Voltage, high ambient temperature or air outlet
blockage. These conditions can cause the condenser to overheat. Turn
cooler off and allow unit to reset before re-starting.
2. When the water condensation tank is 75 percent full it will automatically
shut off the cooler and indicator lamp will illuminate until the tank is
emptied. To restart, turn off the cooler using the power switch on the top
of the cooler. Then empty the water tank and replace into the machine. To
restart the cooler using the power knob on top of the cooler.
3. GFIC circuit on the plug has tripped. Turn the cooler off using the knob
on top of unit then press the reset button on the plug then turn the
cooler on using the knob on the top of the unit.
