Basic Operation
You must be outside in direct line-of-sight of an expanse of sky for service to connect with a satellite (connection
may be possible through a large window if sufficient sky is visible or with the use of an external mount antenna).
Turn and extend antenna, then press the POWER button.
Placing a call
• Once you see the “i” icon appear in the upper right side display after turning the phone on, you are now
ready to make your call using Standard North American Dialing.
• If placing a call from with the US, simply dial 1 then area code and number.
• If placing a call from outside the US, press and hold the 0 key until the + sign appears, then enter
country code (for the US dial 1) area code and number.
• Press the SEND key to place the call
• Press the END key to terminate the call
