Troubleshooting

Vacuum
fails to turn
on.
1. The vacuum might
not be plugged
in properly or the
fuse has tripped.
1. Ensure the plug is in the
socket properly and switched
on.
2. Check the fuse on the mains
board. If it has tripped, reset
it.
Low
suction
or poor
pickup.
1. Bin is full.
2. Filters are blocked.
3. The vacuum is
set at the wrong
height for the
floor type.
4. Blockage in the
hose.
5. Check the dust
canister is fitted
correctly to the
vacuum cleaner,
and the filter lid is
closed securely.
1. Empty the bin. Refer to the
section ‘How to...remove and
empty the bin container’ section
in this manual.
2. Check and clean the filters
following the guidance in the
‘How to...remove and clean MIF
filter, circular sponge filters and
outlet HEPA filter’.
3. Check which setting the suction
regulator is on and adjust if
necessary.

hissing.

restricted.
1. Check for blockages and
clear. Clean the filters. Some
carpet types may seal tightly
to the floor tool. Open the
slider on the hose handle to
reduce the suction power if
needed.
