Use caution as burns can occur from touching hot metal parts, hot water or steam.
Do watch iron during use. Do not operate with damaged cord/plug or if dropped/damaged.
Close supervision is necessary. Never allow a child to operate. Teach children about kitchen dangers.
If iron doesn't work, check temperature control, plug, socket, or faulty appliance.
Follow temperature guide carefully and test on garment hem to prevent damage to textiles.
If iron is dropped or severely knocked, have it checked by a qualified electrician for internal damage.
Check voltage matches supply. If socket is unsuitable, remove and fit appropriate plug.
Removed plugs must be destroyed as flexible cord with bared wires is hazardous.
Use a 13 amp BS1363 plug with a 13 amp BS1362 fuse fitted.
Warning: This appliance must be earthed.
Set steam control to lowest position. Fill water through hole using provided beaker.
Plug in, switch on, set dial to required temp. Wait a few minutes for stabilisation.
Apply monthly to remove scale. Heat iron to max, turn temp dial down to min to clean.
