If your Goldwinch Chain Hoist isn't operating, several issues could be the cause. Start by checking the battery lead for any cuts in the circuit. A weak battery could also be the culprit; try recharging or replacing it with one that has at least 650CCA. Inspect the circuit breaker for damage and replace it if necessary. Ensure all wiring connections are tight. Other potential problems include a damaged solenoid (replace it), a cut circuit on the switch (replace the switch), a damaged motor or worn carbon brush (replace the motor or carbon brush), or loose motor wiring (tighten the wirings).
