Tips for Optimal Use and Maintenance

Tip Maintenance for Longevity

Remove oxides from the tip when cold to prevent sticking and ensure performance.

Handling Seized or Stuck Tips

Apply sewing oil to seized tips and let them sit for half a day to loosen.

Ensure tip-fixing screws are tight before each use to prevent detachment.

Safety Warnings and Precautions

General Safety Warnings

Exercise caution regarding burns, flammable materials, and damaged cords.

Operational Safety Precautions

Use a proper stand, keep away from children, use correct voltage, avoid wet areas.

Plug and Cord Handling

Ensure plugs are fully inserted and unplug by the plug, not the cord.

Important Usage Notes

Tip Placement on Stand

Place the iron on its stand with the tip coated in solder for oxidation protection.

Initial Use and Cooling

Expect initial smoke; do not quench hot tips with water to prevent damage.
