SCREW-DOWN CROWN
The Gorilla Fastback is tted with a screw-down crown for improved
water resistance. The crown must be unscrewed to manually wind the
mechanism or alter time. After setting time, push the crown into position
“B” then press and screw the crown back down into Position “A”. Failure
to screw the crown down will compromise water-resistance.
SETTING THE TIME
Turn the crown counterclockwise to unscrew, pull out the crown into
position “C”, then turn the crown counterclockwise until hour disc and
minute hand are correctly set.
Push the crown back to into position “B”.
Screw the crown back down applying pressure as you turn until the crown
comes to a complete stop in Position “A”.
WINDING THE MECHANISM
After longer periods of not wearing your automatic watch the mechanism’s
mainspring can be hand wound.
Unscrew the crown counterclockwise into position “B”, then turn the crown
clockwise to wind the movement. 15-20 turns of the crown will sufce to
restore the mechanism’s functionality.
Screw the crown back down applying pressure as you turn until the crown
comes to a complete stop in Position “A”.
