Why is there white dust around my Govee Humidifier?
The white dust appears because of using water with high mineral content. It is recommended to use purified or distilled water to fill the humidifier. Also, ensure the silicone sealing ring around the water outlet valve is secure, and clean the water tank and base chamber.
What to do if my Govee H7142 Humidifier has little or no mist?
First, ensure that you've added at least 1L of purified or distilled water to the water tank. Then, turn the mist level to a higher setting. Also, check that the air inlet on the bottom of the base is not blocked and make sure the nozzle is not blocked or clogged. Ensure the humidifier is on a level surface. If the water tank or base was washed with detergent, it should be rinsed thoroughly with clean water to remove residual detergent. If there is too much water in the base chamber, empty it and refill the water tank, placing it properly onto the base. If the water temperature is too low, use room temperature water, or turn the mist level to the highest setting and let the humidifier run for a while, then adjust to the desired setting.
