Usage Features:

  • Touch Control Panel: Allows users to cycle through different modes and functions directly on the device.
  • On/Off Button/Control Button: Used to power the unit on/off and switch between Sleep Mode, Low Speed, High Speed, and Custom Mode/Auto Mode. Custom Mode/Auto Mode requires connection to a separately sold Smart Air Quality Monitor.
  • Sleep Mode: Operates at the lowest noise setting for quiet operation.
  • Memory Function: The air purifier saves its previous settings (speed, mode, Wi-Fi connection) when powered off and resumes them upon powering back on.
  • Aroma Box: Allows for the addition of 8-10 drops of essential oil onto an aroma pad for diffusion. The aroma box is located at the back of the base and pops out for easy access.
  • Govee Home App Integration: Provides access to additional features, smart control, and connectivity to voice assistants like Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant. The app allows for Bluetooth and Wi-Fi connection.
  • 3-Stage Filtration System:
    • Pre-Filter: Captures large particles such as dust, lint, fibers, hair, and pet fur, extending the life of subsequent filters.
    • HEPA Filter: Captures 0.3 microns (µm) airborne particles, including fine dust, smoke particles, pollen, and pet dander.
    • Activated Carbon Filter: Adsorbs smoke, odors, fumes, and filters compounds like formaldehyde, benzene, ammonia, hydrogen sulfide, and volatile organic compounds (VOCs).
  • Clean Air Delivery Rate (CADR): Measures the efficiency of the air purifier based on the volume of clean air produced per minute, specifically for dust, pollen, and smoke. A higher CADR indicates better cleaning performance for larger areas.
  • Safety Instructions: Emphasizes using the air purifier as described, removing plastic wrap from the filter before use, avoiding outdoor use, keeping it away from water/humid areas, heat sources, and combustible gases. It also warns against placing objects in openings, heavy objects on the unit, and using it with solid-state speed control devices. The device has a polarized plug for electrical safety.

Maintenance Features:

  • Filter Replacement Indicator: A red light on the control panel indicates when the filter needs to be reset. The indicator flashes 3 times and turns off after a successful reset. The indicator lights up after 6-8 months of use, but users should check the filter and plan for replacement sooner if used in high pollution environments.
  • Cleaning the Air Purifier:
    • Unplug before cleaning.
    • Wipe the outside with a soft, dry cloth; a damp cloth can be used for the housing, then allowed to dry.
    • Vacuum the inside of the air purifier.
  • Cleaning the Pre-Filter:
    • Clean every 2-4 weeks using a soft brush or vacuum hose to remove hair, dust, and large particles.
    • Do not clean with water or other liquids.
  • Filter Replacement:
    • The 3-stage filter (Nylon Pre-Filter, HEPA Filter, Carbon Filter) should be replaced as a single unit every 6-8 months, or more frequently depending on usage and pollution levels.
    • Unplug the air purifier, remove the old filter, vacuum any remaining dust/hair inside, unwrap and insert the new filter, reattach the cover, plug in, and reset the Filter Change Indicator.
    • Only official GoveeLife filters are recommended for optimal performance.
  • Cleaning the Aroma Pad:
    • Pop out the aroma box, remove the aroma pad, and wash it with warm water.
    • Clean with a cloth and place it back into the aroma box, then push the box back into the air purifier.
    • Do not pour liquid cleaners or detergents onto the aroma pad or into the aroma box.
    • Clean the aroma pad before adding new essential oils; do not mix essential oils.
  • Replacing the Aroma Pad:
    • Replace if deformed or damaged after repetitive washing.
    • If refilling with the same fragrance oil, pads may need changing every 90-120 days.
    • Only use official GoveeLife aroma pads for best aromatherapy effects.
  • Storing: For extended periods of non-use, wrap the air purifier and filter in plastic packaging and store in a dry place to prevent moisture damage.
