16. Test For Tightness
Grab the sides of the seat where the
Lower Anchor strap is and slide the
car seat side-to-side and front-to-
back.
If the seat moves less than 1” (2.5
cm), it is tight enough.
See section 6-D to secure your
child.
17. Replace the Seat Pad
Move the headrest back to its proper
position for your child.
