3. Unhook Top Tether Strap From
Storage
Unhook tether and lay it in the seat.
4. Recline the Car Seat
For children 40 lb or less (18 kg), MUST
use recline position 5.
For children over 40 lb (18.1 kg), MUST
use recline position 6.

1. Remove LATCH Strap from Storage
Location
Push in on the red buttons on the LATCH
connectors and remove from storage
position.
2. Make Sure LATCH Strap is in the
Forward-Facing Belt Path Marked
with Orange Label
If not see section 7-A to move the LATCH
strap.
