14. Test For Tightness
Grab the sides of the seat where the EZ
Tight™ UAS strap is and slide the car seat
side-to-side and front-to-back.
If the seat moves less than 2.5 cm (1”),
it is tight enough.
If it moves more than an 2.5 cm (1”),
repeat steps 11, 12, 13 and 14.
15. Check the Level Indicator
Vehicle MUST be on level ground. Ball
must be completely in the blue zone.
Readjust if needed.
For infants 3 months and under, the ball
must completely cover the light blue circle.
If needed, rolled towels may be placed
under the car seat at the vehicle seat
crease, until the ball is completely in the
blue zone.
See section 5 to secure your child.
Recheck level indicator with child in seat.
