WARNING
Failure to follow these warnings and the instructions could result in
serious injury or death.
SUFFOCATION HAZARD Infants have suffocated:
• In gaps between extra padding and side of the bassinet, and
• On soft bedding.
Use ONLY mattress pad provided by Graco. NEVER add a pillow,
comforter, or another mattress for padding.
• Bassinet can roll over on soft surfaces and suffocate child.
NEVER place product on beds, sofas, or other soft
surfaces.
• Read all instructions before use of the bassinet.
• Keep instructions for future use.
• DO NOT use the bassinet if it is damaged or broken.
• To reduce the risk of SIDS, pediatricians recommend healthy
infants be placed on their backs to sleep, unless otherwise
advised by your physician.
FALL HAZARD: To help prevent falls, do not use this product when
the infant begins to push up on hands and knees, weighs over 20
lb (9 kg) (approximately 5 months of age), or child’s head and feet
simultaneously touch head and foot ends of bassinet mesh sides,
whichever comes first.
• When attached to playard, always check that the product is
securely locked on the playard by pulling upwards on the
product.
• Always check that the base platform/seat is securely locked on
the support frame.
• Child’s activity can move product. When the product is not
attached to the playard, NEVER place product on
counter tops, tables, or any other elevated surface.
• Bassinet not intended for use as infant restraint devices in
motor vehicles.
• NEVER use this product as a means to transport an infant in a
motor vehicle.
