Backrest cushion does not respond when
operating the valves for lumbar support /
lateral support adjustment.
• Too low reserve air pressure.
• Respective valve is defective.
• Air hoses are leaky.
• Chamber for lumbar support or lateral
support adjustment is leaky.
Check the compressed-air system of
the vehicle.
Replace the valves for lumbar
support and lateral support
adjustment (Chapter 3.23).
Check all air hoses for air leakage
and replace a defective air hose (air
hose set), if necessary
(see Chapter 3.22).
Replace the lumbar support or lateral
support adjustment
(Chapter 3.33 or 3.34).
