4. Preperations before regular use
1) The surroundings of the compressor should be clean, dry and well ventilated.
2) Keep the voltage steady and prevent it from varying more than 5% while in use.
3) Keep the oil level within the red circle.
4) Recommended compressor oil:
Use SAE30 or L - DAB100 with temperatures > 10°C
Use SAE10 or L - DAB68 with temperatures < 10°C
5) Open the outlet valve before starting for the first time. Turn the pressure switch to
„on“ (fig. 2). Let the compressor run for 10 minutes without load to make sure that
all moving parts are lubricated before regular use.
5. Operating and adjusting the compressor
1) In normal use the compressor is controlled by a pressure switch. Once the rated (maximum) operating pressure has been achieved
the motor will automatically shut down, starting again when reaching a predifined lower pressure. As soon as the motor switches off,
the compressed air inside the discharge pipe should be released through the release valve positioned beneath the switch, otherwise
the motor could be damaged after restarting. The rated pressure can be adjusted by turning the adjusting bolt. Do not change it
without a proper reason (fig. 3).
2) The output pressure can be regulated with the adjusting valve. Pull up the knob and turn it clockwise or counterclockwise to increase
or decrease the output pressure (fig. 3).
3) When the compressor needs to be shut down, simply put the pressure switch in the „off“ position.
