How to fix 'Cannot pass ABR impedance' error on Grason-Stadler GSI NOVUS?
- DDonna BennettAug 20, 2025
If your Grason-Stadler Test Equipment cannot pass ABR impedance for one or more electrodes, the issue might stem from ineffective skin preparation. To resolve this, remove the electrode and use NuPrep (or another skin prep product) to prepare the skin. Alternatively, the electrode may have lost contact with the skin; check the electrode's contact at the prepared sites. Ensure the electrode lead wire is fully attached to the preamp by checking connections at the preamp cable jack. If the electrode lead wire has a short, replace it with a new one, and verify that the connection of the preamplifier cable to the Novus ABR/OAE connector is secure by removing and re-inserting it.
